The “Ammersee” is one of the popular lakes south east of Munich and I took Sheila there to enjoy a trip on board of one of the nice, comfortable tourist boats on the lake. We went with the boat “Dießen” which is not yet visible on the Picture with the boats in the harbor. We were waiting for the “Dießen” at the harbor of “Inning am Ammersee” which is good accessible by freeway from Munich. The Ammersee is the third largest lake in Bavaria.
Later Sheila insisted to rent a pedal boat and Sheila could not help pedaling as her feet are too short but she did the navigation. I however was pedaling so fast that Sheila almost lot her hat in the wind.
We finished the day with a nice sun-downer at the Inning harbor and enjoyed the warm light and the sunset.
At the shore of the Ammersee above on a small mountain, the “Holy Mountain” situated is Monastery Andechs, the contemporary burial site of the „Wittelbacher“ familiy.
