Nürburgring Nordschleife

Koblenz at the Rhine
Nürburg Castle

Clemens and Sheila got the idea that we should drive on the „Nordschleife“ Nürburgring, a tourist attraction when there is no official race going on. But I learned that the course is more than 20 km Long and that one should always drive with a Minimum speed of 70 km/h and I only had 2 hours time so I skipped that. Taking pictures on the track while racing is forbidden too. We saw many amateur racers with their pimped rides but normal small cars too. All raging like the „Huns“ from the „Nibelungenlied„, one female spectator watching her male hero said: „Wehe wenn sie losgelassen“ (Friedrich Schiller, Poem „Die Glocke“), you’ll be sorry if you unleash them.

So we only had lunch in the American style diner restaurant and watched the cars and race people.
