As the swarm missed to visit the memorial “Scheitelhaltung”, the highest point of the Rhine-Main-Donau-Kanal (canal) on our last trips to Franconia we returned and accomplished the assignment.

It is a narrow wall with a gap at the canal and at it’s top a very Duck-friendly Duck Walk. We probably got pictures of the only freight ship 2024 travelling southbound to Ukraine.

The canal is no big commercial success in the freight business. But a wonderful leisure facility. Some of the swarm peed into the North Sea, the others pooped into the Black Sea.

 

           

 

             

We had to walk a little bit to get there and came through a forest full of fresh mushrooms.
