Sheila heard rumors that in May 2016 a giant “Titanwurz” was going to bloom in the Botanical Garden München Nymphenburg so she insisted to participate in the event as no other Duck so far has been photographed with a “Titanwurz” Amorphophallus titanum. We came in one night to late and missed the pinnacle of the bloom but still could see the impressive plant the next night. It was difficult to get a picture with Sheila as there were thousands of spectators and warm steam was condensing on the camara lense but we got some.

Besides the sensational Titanwurz we also enjoyed the other beauties of the botanical garden and listened to the concert of the present toads and admired the also displayed china o China Factory Nymphenburg. The garden was built from 1910-1914 (don’t mix up with the old one built by King Maximilian I. of Bavaria 1812 in the city center)
