Today Michael asked Sheila if she wants to have a coffee at home with him. Sheila not dumb though told Michael she would prefer to be taken out for some ice-cream as she learned that “German Black Forest” ice-cream has been elected “Eis des Jahres 2018” by the “Union der italienischen Speiseeishersteller in Deutschland” (association of the Italian ice producers in Germany. That was unveiled to the press at the “MIG – Mostra Internationale del Gelato“. And Black Forest Cake related stuff is always on top of Sheilas line.

The ice comes in two versions, one with the original true cherry Schnaps (Schwarzwälder Kirsch) from the Black Forest and few cherry pieces and a second version without alcohol and only cherries. So Michael took Sheila to the ice cream parlor at the Pfanzeltplatz „Il Gelato Italiano“ with the nice May-Pole and had ice cream with Schnaps together with her. Michael had extra wiped cream as topping, Sheila with her very nice figure did not want to have wiped cream on her ice.
