The ÖSA in Magdeburg, an Insurance Company , is said to be sold soon by its current owners, the banks of the State Sachsen-Anhalt. The money might be needed to consolidate another solid German Bank, the NordLB. (Norddeutsche Landesbank) which is also partly owned by the German States.

Martin Luther went to school here in Magdeburg 1497 and preached here 1524.

At the train station in Magdeburg Grisella also came across another interesting piece of art, the “Erdachse, M. 1:1.000.000” created by Prof. Timm Ulrichs. And as Sheila traveled all around the world and we like interesting modern art we of course had to take pictures here too.
