The Swarm after several years (2017 ESSZIMMER Bobby Bräuer) once again went to the BMW World, a BMW restaurant and BMW Museum in Munich. Knowing Wittelsbacher Prince Poldi (Leopold), race car driver and descendant of King Ludwig I. (Adalbertisch Line) is a brand ambassador for BMW we sent Ludwig to do the job.
To Ludwigs delight he learned that BMW worked together with the British Race Car builder “Lola Cars”. Ludwig got excited and expressed that in the installation of BMW where the visitors could play and put the results on the Internet for a day.
We heard some people laugh when they saw the probably first Duck expressing itself with it’s dance.
We enjoyed the special exhibition of BMW Motorbikes and joined the game “Finde Isetta”. We had to at least find 8 of 10 stickers of the iconic Isetta car, a wonderful piece of art built from 1955-1962 by BMW. Italian style car. It saved the company in a financial crisis and gave it time to develop own new models. And to become one of the premium producer world wide now.
Ludwig also used the chance to take a seat on one of the beautiful BMW Motorbikes. Which even some people in Kansas prefer.
As we had reserved a table in the restaurant (BMW has another one in Austria) “Bavarie” run by Käfer (the swarm had enjoyed 2 Star Cuisine at the “Esszimmer” Bobby Bräuer before (must look for the pictures), we did not have time enough to thoroughly find all the necessary stickers in time. We only found 6. But still had fun searching on the different levels of the museum whose round, column like architecture reminded me of the Guggenheim Museum in New York.
Which we visited in the late 1980’ties.
Adalbert was the fourth son of King Ludwig I. whose mistress was Lola Montez. The song “Whatever Lola wants (Lola gets” inspired naming the British company “Lola Cars” in the late 1950’ties.
The museum also shows the famous car of Elvis Presley, the BMW 507 in it’s original white color After Elvis had to have it resprayed red because of all the messages written with red lipstick on it while being in the army in Germany.

I found the old pictures of Sheila enjoying the splendid restaurant in the BMW World.
The Isetta had a valid licence plate at that time.
