As locomotive “Johanna” and her sisters of course needed electricity to work for the “Ammergaubahn”, a power plant had to be built in the area. So the worldwide first Single-Phase electric power plant “Kammerl” (hydroelectric plant) was built at the side of the “Ammer” River. It is a run-of-river power station. Ulrich joined before he had to duck in Vietnam.

It is situated Close the „Schleierfälle“ waterfalls and the Echelsbacher Bridge.
