As Ronald D. was not successful with laying a second Atomic Egg in Garching, he also tried his luck at the Radom in Raisting, a broadcasting plant which has been used together with the antennas on the Zugspitze Mountain to broadcast the Olympic Games in Munich 1972 and before the landing on the moon. It is a protected technical monument now but there is only some limited guided access. Some of the antennas are in use by some international agencies.

We recently saw another Radom in the Eifel low mountain range a few weeks ago from the distance while visiting Drachenfels Mountain and enjoying the view
