Helmut Dietl, famous film director, 1996 produced an iconic film about the „Schickeria“ (Bussi Bussi Gesellschaft) of Munich whose hotspot is in roaring Schwabing), the film industry in Munich and his favorite restaurant „Romagna Antica“, now named „Rossini“ with some of Gemanys best and most popular actors.

Rossini, oder die mörderische Frage wer mit wem schlief„.

Directors Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Dietl and Bernd Eichinger were regulars in this restaurant. It today also operates a wine shop.

Mario Adorf played the italian restaurant owner, (he did so too in the German Criminal Comedy „Pizza Colognia on famous ship Goethe). Veronica Verres played „Schneewittchen„, a starlet desperatly trying to get the title role „Loreley“ in a movie production the movie is about.

We tried to get into the Restaurant but it was closed when we droped by. So we had a drink next door, with a view at the famous restaurant.
