Swaziland Kingdom of Eswatini

Kingdom of Eswatini (former Swaziland) another landlocked country in the southern part of Africa.

It was under British rule until 1968 and is as many African countries under economic pressure and tried to get some loans from it’s neighbors who claimed political reforms in return as precondition. Right now there are some strikes organized by the Trade Union congress and unrest in the country. Drug abuse, HIV and Tubercolosis desease are big issues in that country.

Marianne went on another safari here in the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park and stayed in the Lugogo Sun Hotel. 

The trip was very long with daily stages on the bus of more than 500 KM and  Marianna had to find a comfortable place in the bus for herself.

On her safaris through Kruger Park in South Africa and Swaziland Marianne was able to see all big five, even the rare Leopard. They say, driving through those parks in open Jeeps is not dangerous at all as the animals do not consider Ducks in cars as Prey. So just relax and play some music. Even better shit happens too, but the linked media disappeared.

Marianne brought home a lovely souvenier from Swaziland, a Duck shaped light from Swaziland, a colourful art candle which is now stored in our souvenir glass cabinet. Of course setting fire to any of our Ducks is strictly forbidden.
