Fun-fare in Neumarkt in the Oberpfalz

When we were in “Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz”, Dieter discovered, that there was a fun-fare going on and he insisted to go there and to check, if some cousins are deployed again in any Duck-Angling events. And what shall I say, yes.

Ducks seem to be taking over these days. I think, I said that before.

So we went there and had a lot of fun and candy too of course.

We enjoyed the nice view overlooking Neumarkt town riding on a Ferris Wheel and the green surroundings and enjoyed a lovely sunset behind a swing carousel.

As we were not alone in the gondola, I had to explain our project to the other guests (locals from Neumarkt, Oberpfalz) and Dieter could brag with all his knowledge about the Wittelsbacher king Christoper III. (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland) who was born here. And I tought, “a biserl a Kultur mu ma doch haben, des mua ma doch wissen” and I made a PISA check. The locals in the gondola did not know that, so we were proud and felt like winners.

I wonder, what they think of us now. Dieter and I shared some candy next door to the Duck-Angling before we went back to Regensburg with all its Great Romans.
